When else would I have the oppourtunity to influence them about life and the wonders of nature

They are a captured audience on the boat.

When they catch 5lb fluke its only an added bonus.

I remember each and everyday i was with my Dad Fishing or Hunting, quite often I find myself in a trance with that little smile on my face, had have taken the same road with my son and daughter, sharing every experience you can with them.

You are giving your boys a gift that has no price nor could anyone ever put a price on a way of life that will be passed on generation to generation.

My daughter is now 17 and still enjoys the trip to the beach at least once a week.  I wish I could keep it that way forever.  But now there is a new boy in her life, but dad still rules the suds...   as the boyfriend is finding out.

Treat them as equals and they will be yours for life.

I fish with my father every saturday and sunday, when I was going through my rebelious state from 17-20, I wanted nothing to do with fishing and the boat. Now I look forward to it every weekend!
