ARRRGGGG
« on: November 19, 2010, 01:58:34 PM »
I can't believe the arrogance of some a$$ holes.  I was fishing up at Gillies and having no luck.  When some guys sets up next to me (about 20') and they start to dead stick.  I thought not to bad if they keep it straight out.

Than another truck pulls up and 3 get out and 2 guys start to set up spikes up nor more than 10' from me and start to live line eels WTF...

Then one of the guys that pulled up earlier casts and it goes right across my lime and guess what he walks it back and puts it in the spike again WTF...

I cast out one more time hooked his line and somehow his line broke, I tipped my hat and said have a nice day and drove off with the NJ salute flying high.  I just checked and it is a full moon on Sunday and already they are coming out of their caves.  I guess fishing on the weekends is out for me.

I hate stupidity...

Happy Catching

Paul

That's one of the reasons I stopped fishing on the surf. Way too much of that going on.  nosmly

When I got my 43+#er many years ago (my memory lane post) I was standing there with the fish hooked up as the fish was taking drag and two older guys walked right up and one cast his line over my line.  cfzd

I yelled at him that I had a fish on and he gave me a nasty look. I guess he felt I should not have been fighting a fish where he wanted to be fishing.  5hrug

Yeah, there can bea real bunch of jerks out there.  nosmly

Ah, don't get me wrong, I had no knife with me at the time, but I was always told to keep your boots dry and your hooks sharp.   ;D

Now I know why... slt

Think everyone has had that happen how about the guys that get pi$$ed at you if your catching and there not
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

No surprise...

It gets ridiculous after a while!  These are the same guys that buzz me while I am out riding in IBSP on my bike when there aren't any cars in the opposite lane...or the guy in the White Ford Explorer that likes to do 100+ all the way to the end??
