I been up all night baby sitting my pump and I seen this .So sad thinking about all the people sleeping and driving with that coming at them. Dam did you see the cars and boats being tossed around? :'(

 nosmly nosmly News just reported that a ship capsized with over 100 people aboard. Incredible video of devastion created by wave, God help the Japanese.

Bug that  is very sad .Rick I need to find a sump pump that will go on when my shower stool water hits 3 1/2 to 4 inches of water. It is ground water coming from a dry well. I don't think they make a auto- pump like that .Most I see you need a 9" pit.

They make one with a bulb on a wire. anchore the wire short and it should work.

Art...try a submersible pump with the built in float...I think they turn on with less water height.

Art try Little Giant Pumps they have a built in float and start pumping in a 1" or so of water
