Had Steve Socks Blackfish trip scheduled today... Shrimpman Steve, Lefty Ron Johny Tomatoes, Eric the Mortgage Man and Vin sportsfishusa rounded out todays crew... With the weather we didnt have much of a choice besides flounder or nothing so we decided to give it a go in the Bay /River.
Headed up to the bay where we been catching some nice size flounder as of late... Got setup water was dirty and 0 bites... Besides the dirty water the grass was horrible... Made a bunch of moves hoping to pick a few but it was a bust.
Back tracked to the river and the wind was really cranking got setup and Ron the all star picked up a flounder... then Eric picked one and Ron caught another... That was our big bite... no more hits after that.
Tried a few more spots but the outing wind and blowout tide got the best of us.
was hoping for it to be better but with all the rain wind weeds it made for tough conditions. Sure they will bite again when it straightens out.
Crew was a Blast as always despite the bad fishing... Shrimp Lived up to flounder reputation, Vin accomplished his mission of he much needed rest... Ron was the all star with his two fish and the pool!!! Eric was that a door bell?
