Fish The Drop Off stripers reports
« on: April 18, 2011, 08:50:37 PM »
4/14/11
Open boat ran with Jack and Timmy.  It was a slow pick with Jack getting one at 29” and Timmy getting his first Striper every at 31 inches. Fished the out going tide with clams.

4/18/11
After going three days with wind and rain did not know what today would hold.  Had the Russ Miserendino party on board.  We got to our spot and had flat calm conditions. We fished the last three hours of the incoming tide and had a nice pick of short striper and keepers. Once the tide turned the wind picked up and we had wind against the tide and the bite shut off. The guys ended the day with 3 keeper from 29” to 32”  and had 5 shorts.  All shorts were under the 22” mark.

Nice reports Capt Fran. It's only going to get better as the season progresses.  t^
