Bass on 1st day out 4/30/11
« on: May 02, 2011, 12:10:13 PM »
After a long winter it felt really good to get out on the water.  A buddy and I left the dock in Little Silver at 6 am with overcast skies and a stiff wind out of the NW.   Saw good marks right around the pier and decided to troll some  stretches.  Had bass on within minutes.  Dropped a few and the ones we landed were all in the 28-32" range.  Headed home around 9:30 when most of the guys were just heading out...  Certainly a nice way to start the season.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
