Clamming the Bay
« on: May 11, 2011, 08:27:22 PM »
Started the troll over near the #19 this morn . Nothing interested in what we were offering . headed over to the 11A .That's where we left them biting Monday . Nothing doing . Watched a 6 pk. charter out've Atlantic Highlands leave the 11A area and head towards the back bay .He stay on the area for some time . We made our move towards where he was working . On the way over,we got some readings on the screen .Droped the hook .Started the clam chum slick.Ben and I put our 6 fish in the box and went flukin'.Never had a bump. The wind was blowing hard .Think the drift was just too damn fast at this time of year .

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
