The Kurt Ackerman charter joined Capt. Paul on board the Bounty Hunter today. After clearing the Inlet we were surprised to find a relatively calm ocean. We were however in a Pea Soup fog for the ride up to the clam grounds. The calm did not last long as within an hour after anchoring we had a wind shift to the East and the velocity picked up by the minute. By 9AM we were bouncing pretty good in a 25kt east wind with gusts approaching 30 knots. In spite of the rough conditions Kurt and his group managed to go 10 for 15 on Bass up to 34", 5 shorts were released. We called it a day at Noon as conditions continued to deteriorate and the seas were building. Kurt and his crew are one tough bunch of Fishermen and a pleasure to have on board.  clp

t^ t^  Great Job Capt. Paul and Crew   t^ t^
Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
