Rod, we had an equal if not slightly more number of bites on the Mojo's. Captain said they've been doing very well with them-although he's still waiting for the first double
. His Mojo's are slightly different than your diagram as he uses a lead-head with a shad tail instead of a plug.
To the guys who were out on Romer's. I was expecting to fish there as the boat I fished on is usually fishing that area this time of year but when I asked the Captain why we didn't go there, his reply was that the water temps are still too cold out there for a good bite & that everything is about 10-14 days late. that area should break open very soon. In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised that after we have these several days of east & southeast winds (that should bring in warmer water & bust up a bunch of clams out there) Romer's goes off.
