Headed out at 0600 with John Quigley and company for some Striper fishing....first drop and just got that feeling that it would be a tough day....not a touch...made a move and looked a little better boxing a 31" fish...cracked hard to no avail...made a small move, drifted over my slick to check the sonar and had good marks all along it...just wouldnt bite. Had a small pick of fish for the gang...but in plain words....IT SUCKED!....Incoming temp was 66.5 and outgoing was 68.5 and not a bunker to be found!
