Had Matt Goldman family charter abaord today for a day of stripers. Matt last charter 2 weeks ago was a tough fishing so we were hoping to get him and his 2 young sons into some nice stripers!
Made bait right outside but it was crowded... moved a few miles to the north and had fish bustin through the bunker... had two good drifts going 4 for 8 but then it died.
Heard of a bite to the south... Capt Freddy and Capt Max confirmed it was going off . It really pays to have a good network of reliable fisherman in this live line game as the bite could pop up almost anywhere at anytime. Thanks guys!!!
Steamed south and got into a insane bite... got two great drifts... had over 25 bites and landed another 12 fish before the bite died.
Had the kids reelin in 30lb class fish made my day!!!
By days end the guys had around 35 bites and landed 16 big striper in the 20 - 30lb range keeping a legal limit.
Crew was great as always!
