Capt. Paul ran another Open Boat trip today. The crew was made up of John, Craig, Eric, Kurt and his brother Mark. With the water temps rising it was easier to find the Bunker in greater numbers. The guy's filled the Livewell and we ran up to the northern grounds where we got in on the tail end of a bite that was taking place off Sea Bright. We put 3 nice Bass in the box before the bite died and then made a move offshore where we added another 2 Bass to the catch. Things slowed for a few hours and then we found the Bass crashing on baits off Deal. The crew landed a few and had several misses. The fish were moving south so we stayed with them and boxed a couple every time they came up on the Bunker. When we left for home we had a 10 fish limit catch in the box plus 2 Bonus fish. It was a great day of fishing with a great bunch of guys. We hope to see them all back soon.
