Manasquan River Fluking Sunday 5-Jun
« on: June 06, 2011, 07:16:33 AM »
My son, his buddy and me were going to do some fluking and seabass fishing.  We swung by the --------- tackle store in brick to pick up our bait and then down to the boat.  Out the Manasquan inlet around 7 in the morning and it was a bit sporty with the east wind. We decided we didn’t want to deal with a 3.5 knot drift so back in the river we went.   We ended up with 65 fluke with 5 keepers at 18, 18, 18 ½, 19 ½ and 20 ½.  ¾ oz Spros tip with spearing and or squid was the bait of choice for the day. Back at the dock by 2:30.
