Irish Ayes...Naked Eddies P/B Fluke Catch 6/18/11
« on: June 18, 2011, 08:06:58 PM »
Had Bob Cole, Naked Eddie and Andy aboard today. Headed north out of the inlet and his the shallow water off of Deal where we left them biting Thursday. We had no drift so we tried power drifting. Put several short fluke in the boat which were released to grow up.

Moved further north and outside of the rocks where it went from no drift to drifting several different directions as the wind at times overtook the current. Some weird actions by the boat today.  :P

At one point Naked Eddie (fishing on the bow, as we don't allow him on deck with us  ;D) starts cranking in his line. He gets about half way up and says, "I think I need some assistance with this". The fish comes into sight and it was a nice one. Into the net and onto the board, twenty six inches and a digital scale jumping from 7.5 to 8 pounds. Placed on ice for fillet and release at the dock.

Had a couple more keepers, tried a few other spots and headed to the barn.

Naked Eddie with his lunker.
