Roosters Flukin 7-1
« on: July 01, 2011, 07:19:12 PM »
Out beyond the Candlesticks and alongside the Swash Channel provided some decent fishing in 35 feet of water. The wind and tide together allowed holding bottom until 10AM when we made a move to the Ammo Pier up against the white Cans drifting towards the Hook. Tom and I had Tom Nelson with us for a morning of Fluke fishing helping us to land seven keeper Fluke to 22". The ocean water was clear, but Sandy Hook Bay was stained with a brown scum on top. Pete
