Sorry its late.. busy weekend.. Had Fluka out by 0700 Fri. & Sat. for more fun with the Fluke.. had old school buddies Johnny and Rick out Friday.. Started in east side the bay, and sorted through a pile of shorts, but had 3 keeps in the box before rounding the hook and moving out to the rough stuff..With dead flat conditions, we still managed to jig /bait up a steady supply of shorts with the occasional keeper.. The wind picked up in the afternoon, combining with tide making the drift real fast.. so we headed to the barn with 8 nice fluke and a few C-bass..
Saturday, Brother Rob, joined my 2 aces Ross and Dibbs and we took advantage of the smooth seas to run out where we left them the day before.. We again started workin with a lack of drift, but the boys pulled a steady stream of fish over the rail most of the day with only a few lulls..Still lots of short Fluke and Seabass to weed through, and we been seeing a few Ling as well most days.. Again the fan came on in the afternoon , causing an increase in sacrifices to the reef.. so we called it a day around 3:30 with 10 keeper Fluke, and headed back to attended the 4th of July BBQ's .. Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!
