Today I had Bubba, Guy, and Joe out for an inshore wreck trip. A great bunch of guys that are pretty new to the bottom fishing game. We started the day with great conditions and a fair pick of fish. A few drops into the trip they had great action but not enough fish in the box. A little more poking around found what they came for...big summer seabass. When they pulled 8 fish in a row over 15" I knew the box would be fine. Guy was hot on the big fish with 3 over 3lbs. The guys had a great box going when at 12:30 they said thats enough and called it a short day and left them bitting. Final count at the fillet table was 55 keeper seabass to 3.75 lbs and 2 fat ling. Yep it was some jumbo bags of tasty fillets.
