We were due for some wind and today we got it. Today I had a combo bay/ocean trip with Kurt and his two 16 year old daughters. With a nice late 9am start we went right to the ocean to grab a bucket of seabass. The crew chugged away at keepers and shorts while the wind and seas built. After an hour and a half they had 18 keepers on ice and released 50 plus shorts when the sea conditions sent us to the bay. I had hoped to spend more time in the ocean as the tide sucked in the bay for fluked fishing. We grinded away on a slow bite of short fluke at the bottom of the out going . They released 13 short shorts for slow action. Looks like tomorrow is a no go already.
