Headed out for another day on the fluke grounds. Bob Smiles, Jim, Cool Hand Al Bob Bates, Brian Taylor aka Sea Nymph and Jack rounded out the crew.
Started off in the rough stuff and had a good bite... lots of shorts with some keepers mixed in every drift. Bounced around n Picked away at them.
Bites completely stopped like someone flipped the switch. went into search mode... most spots had life but mostly shorts... even in spots we see mostly nice fish.
Finally found some better fish at the end of the day... not a great bite but the ones ya caught were good ones... few a drift.
Bob Bates lead the way he was hh with 9 keepers (Only taking Limit) and had the big fish at 8 1/4 lbs!!!!
Worked hard to put a catch together n put in a marathon day
By days end the guys boxed up 28 Keeper Fluke 8lbs + a seabass and a ling
Great crew they fished hard for em!!!
Thanks again fellas
