NETKEEPER - 7/15 John Carbone Charter Fluke Report
« on: July 19, 2011, 08:42:51 AM »
On Friday we hosted the John Carbone party with son John jr and friend Dan. The guys wanted a later start so we left the dock at 10:30. Started in the bay with shorts and one keeper to show for our efforts. Made a 15 mile move to the rough bottom where we fished for the SHBA Tourney and we switched over to bucktails and strip baits. John jr who bucktailed for the first time today was the hot hand boxing 7 keepers to 5 pounds and John sr bucktailed three. By days end, the guys managed to box 11 keepers with 10 coming on the bucktails and half in the 4-5lb range. Great bunch of guys to fish with.
