I would like to compliment Mister Echenique for his outstanding article, "Wounded Warriors at Tiger Island." The annual Memorial Day celebration, honoring our military men & women, was, once again, a huge success. Crichton & Tracy Allen's Tiger Island Outfitters, Florida, specializes in hunting the Florida wild hog. Both meat & trophy hogs are available. Crichton & Tracy recognize the fact that we are here, and free, because of men like the most honored guest at this years event, Mister Carlos Rios, and Mister Ralph Raperto.
Carlos was wounded during the first Gulf war. Ralph, another true American hero, was seriously wounded during the Vietnam war. The gold old Florida hog hunt, provided by Tiger island, will never be forgotten by these, "Wounded Warriors" who gave all of us so very much. This was Mister Carlos Rios' first-ever hunting experience. Thanks to Crichton & Tracy, Mister Rios was rewarded with a real Florida trophy, a 152 pound wild boar. Mister Ralph Raperto, harvested, from his wheel chair, a fine 136 pound sow.
Our actions & words will never repay the debt we owe to our real heroes, our military men & women. However, it is through the actions of patriots like Crichton & Tracy, Tiger island Outfitters, that we show our sincere gratitude. In addition, thanks to Mister Chuck Echenique, Rebel Yelp Calls & Outfitters, for providing outstanding information on the "Wounded Warriors" hunt, and Mister Aaron Portwood, editor, Woods'nWater Magazine for providing magazine space for the coverage of this ever so worth while event.
