left the inlet around 3pm today, man was the inlet calm and nice, nicest I have ever seen it. Made a left and fished off IBSP in about 50-53 feet, in front of bathing beach area.
We had more small blue fish thatnm we knew what to do with for about 2 hours my 13 year old and I had a contest to see who could land the most. He won!!! Lots of great fillets for the smoker. we had so much fun we didn't bother bottom fishing
Came back in the inlet around 6pm and it was stillr really nice so we looked for some fluke. caught a few smalls and I then landed a 13 inch winter flounder. that one surprised me. is that unusual to get them this time of year in the inlet??
One of those afternoons when I feel really lucky to be alive! I am a very blessed guy, work hard and play hard!!
