It was another good day with the Bluefin Tuna on board the Bounty Hunter. Marty Ingram was on board with his 3 Sons, Danny, Ryan and KC. All are new to Bluefin fishing and the anxiety level was high. We cleared the Inlet at 3 AM and enjoyed a nice smooth, moonless ride out to the Bluefin Grounds. Arriving just before sunrise it did not take Paul long to locate the bait and feeding Tuna. Our first Jig fish was a 40" under which we released. All the following Bluefin were larger as we jigged our 46" Under fish on a gold Stingo. Later in
the day we landed our 48"Over fish on a Sardine bait drifted on the bottom. For the day the guy's went 9 for 10 on nice Bluefin. We had 1 on the Stingo, 1 on a hammered Chrome diamond Jig, 2 on baits drifted on the bottom and the rest on our new 16 oz. "Spanko" Jigs. It was good fishing with a great bunch of guy's. I think they will be back soon.
