Tuna Tales Sunday 07-31-11 Good Wreckfishing - Cod to 14 lbs

Fished with my father Joe Sr., Chuck and Charlie for cod today. Was glad to see the slight NE come up in the am for anchoring. Decent bite early which became a pick by noon. Lots of bergalls.

Nice catch of 27 cod to 14 lbs with 14 keepers. 2 blackfish to 4 lbs and 1 seabass in 5 hours of fishing.

A nice calm day for my father (79) as well. Lots of good eats!

The deck shot looks just like a winter block island cod trip . You know minus the 16 degree air temp, 28 bucks in tolls,350 miles on the truck, and snow. ;D. Nice catch keep doing what ya doing cause you are doing it very well. t^
