I install floating docks and jet ski docks all spring and summer....i'd just like to hear from you guys what you think on the subject.

Thanks for sharing that article.  I was over at Berkeley Island the other day and I have never seen so many sea nettles there. 
Just reading a few of the comments, it seems that articles like this turn folks into instant armchair scientists.  "I'm not a marine biologist, but I play one on TV."

One thing we know is that our bay is not doing very well.  I think we need to let the scientists do their thing and explore many avenues to try to find a solution.

I didn't believe any of it until I pulled a floating dock out of the water after about 8 years......covered in sea nettle eggs.
