Out across Sandy Hook Bay to the channel edges where Tom and I set up waiting for the tide change looking for our favorite flatfish. During the slack I picked up two keeper Fluke @ 19"and 20", we thought this was going to be a good trip, wrong, those were the only keepers. Plenty of shorts around as we moved to the Candlesticks, then down to the Nude beach, over to the Shrewsbury Channel where we caught plenty of Blueclaw crabs. A plus for the day was an invasion of Sea Robins which Tom now uses as food for his Black Lab Rosie, boiled in a little water and mixed with dry food Rosie no longer has dog breath, now fish breath.
The Fluke hit on Killies and Gulp©. Pete
