Made the rounds tryin to muster up a crew no takers due to other commitments
Launched an hour before high tide. Tough making bait but had the goods in the circulator! Nosed my way outside. Flat sweet running, smooth, water. On the spot with some company in the vicinity. Took a while for the tide change and the bite to start but even then it was picky. Got hammered on one spot and dropped
Finished the drift and returned to get 'em riled up again with a tasty treat. Spro with chartruese gulp 6" twister tail tipped with fresh strip bait. Came back with a vengence.... nice sight with the pole in one hand and the net in the other. Managed to swim him in but not without my heart racing. Just shy of 7.5lb on the digi and taped out at 26.5" Had 4 other decent fish in the box and lost one other near the net
CB made an appearance smacking the teaser.
Beautiful day with the west and blue skies. Doesn't get much better!
Till next time
