Fish I.D.? Need Help

The kids have been catching these off the dock.  Can someone I.D. this fish please?

I would say its a Northern Sennet. close cousin to a barracuda. both are not real common but also are not real rare in our waters. They claim they get to about 2 lbs but I have never seen them larger than  a 1/2 lb .

Thanks for the I.D.  I checked it out online and you are definitely correct.  I have fished my whole life in Little Egg Harbor and have never seen one before.  The kids are having a blast catching them off the dock while fishing for snappers.

I get them occasionally in my cast net at my dock in Shark River. NOrthern Sennet is correct.  t^

I remember the first lizard fish I caught in BI.  I Id it because I used them grouper fishing in the Bahamas. I took pictures and thought I had a rare catch. By the end of the week I was up to 12 releases. LOL The mantas shrimp are also a nice change of pace. The sennets are just plain out cool.
