Where are the big Blues??

To be honest I have a pretty full freezer of Fluke and am just looking for a fun fight this weekend.  There's bait fish all over the Raritan bay and cocktail blues, but I really haven't come across any of the giants this season.  Are they around, or strictly way out in the deep?
