Cookstown Saltwater Anglers Club 3rd Annual Fluke Tournament

DATE: SATURDAY, AUGUST 20th, 2011

ENTRY FEE: $100.00 / BOAT (UP TO 5 ANGLERS PER BOAT)

Captains Meeting: Held on Friday, August 19, 2011 @ 7:00pm sharp

Location: Garden State Diner/Restaurant, 208 Georgetown Rd, Wrightstown, NJ
(Corner of Georgetown Road and Route 537)

 
CASH & PRIZES*

1st $500.00 plus Trophy – Based on Total weight of up to 5 fluke max.

2nd $300.00 plus Trophy – Based on Total weight of up to 5 fluke max.

3rd  $200.00 plus Trophy – Based on Total weight of up to 5 fluke max.

Heaviest Fluke – Rod/Reel Combo from Canyon Reels & Rick’s Custom Rods

Heaviest Sea Bass – $100.00

*Cash prizes subject to change based on number of boats.

Ø  Fish Weigh-In  -  6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, August 20th (satellite time) at the Cookstown Saltwater Anglers Club meeting location, The Garden State Diner.

Ø  Tournament is open to everyone, everywhere; you do not have to be a club member to enter.

Ø  Sign up and pay as soon as possible.  We need to know how many boats and anglers are participating in the tournament.

Ø  Rules:   Official rules will be posted on our website.  www.cookstownanglers.com

I'd jump in on this but already in the Shillehagh tourney the same day. Would be too far of a run for weigh in for both. That is, if we have the big ones to weigh in.  TT^

It's a great time.  Here's a pic of two of last years winners.  I had no idea we had halibut in Jersey . . . there's more pictures on the website for the last couple years. 

Some of you guys may no this young man, he's my fluke hero.   ;D

I believe his teams total 5 fish were OVER 36lbs.
