With the fishing of late up and down it's good to see something starting to come together. Looks like the bottom fishing in September is going to be good!
So with the good bottom fishing bite we had on Saturday Morning, Captain Nick decided to put a last minute crew together and enjoy a morning of fun fishing. We brought some green crabs out to see if the blackfish wanted to chew. By noon time, the crew of Captains Nick and John, Joe F., Waine and Tim had put a limit of nice tog, to 4lbs, and released a second limit of keeper size fish, along with many smaller fish. We also fished the cloud of porgies that held under the boat keeping 16 nice ones, along with a dozen and a half sea bass. With bites and action throughout the trip!
The bottom fishing seems like it’s getting better by the day on the local spots, so now is the time to get in on it before sea bass is closed for the season. These trips are perfect for a 4 or 6 hour, and a great chance to introduce family and friends to fishing and boating. Contact us now to book date your sure to remember!
