Virginia authorities have arrested Michael Calabrese twice since rescuing him during Hurricane Irene.
Officials in Norfolk, Va., probably want to know when Michael Calabrese is going stop leaving little messes behind.
Just hours after meeting with city and Coast Guard officials to discuss his beached yacht, the 48-year-old Calabrese allegedly defecated in the backseat of a police cruiser, according WAVY-10. The incident involved Calabrese's second arrest in as many weeks.
On Saturday, Aug. 27, as Hurricane Irene began its approach on Virginia, firefighters rescued Calabrese and his girlfriend from the 42-foot yacht Maybe Tomorrow, which has since sat idly on the shore.
That Sunday, police arrested the sailor for the first time after he allegedly appeared drunk at a hurricane shelter.
Three days later, Calabrese posted $500 bond and authorities released him from jail, only to detain him the very next day on a second public intoxication charge, The Virginian-Pilot reported. Calabrese allegedly soiled himself in the police car during the incident.
Calabrese, also charged with destruction of property, posted a second $50 bail before being released. His plan for removing the yacht was due to city officials yesterday.
