Pilot - 9/11 couple of shorts
« on: September 12, 2011, 07:19:04 PM »
Not much to say here on the fish front.  East wind and brown water kept us tight to the Coast Guard station and bug light.   Water a little cleaner here then the RB.  Full crew had 8 short fluke and 2 huge Lionel Ritchies for our efforts. Two fluke were close to the number but not legit.  What few bites we had were in shallow water.  Some in 20ft and a handful in 5.5 ft cfzd.  Tried the Belford side of the pier also and scratched out a goose egg.  Hoping the tides flush it out and seas lay down the balance of the week to see if they're still around outside.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
