Community Fire House Fluke Masters Tourn 8/4

Community Fire House in Leonardo will hold their anual Fluke Masters Tournament out of Leonardo State Marina on Sat Aug 4 (cancelation date Sun Aug 5th)

The tournament is total weight of 5 legal fish, entry fee is $75 a boat, all monies go to the Fire Company.

Sounds like a good tournament.  I hope they get a good response.  Entry fee is very reasonable too.  If I was out of Sandy Hook I would join in. 

I fish a tournament similar to that one.  Total weight for five fish.  I feel it is better than the largest wins.  Total weight makes it a little more battle of skills rather than who got lucky going over a big one on the day of the tourney.

The Tourn is run out of Leonardo Marina (Sandy Hook Bay) next to the Navy Pier.....just have to touch base with the committee boat at the end of the channel that morning
