On the Delaware at Bulls Island
« on: July 22, 2007, 09:40:48 PM »
Went to Bulls Island State park on the Big D for some Small Mouth action. We hit the water around 3:30 pm and fished until 7:45. The smallies were very cooperative considering all the water traffic, I would also like to thank the guy that gave me his left over shiners in a Wawa food container. They helped put this nice smallie in the boat. We also had some nice channel catfish and Calico bass. 8)

Sounds like you had a good time. I have caughten some VERY nice smallmouth bass in the Big D up near Milford/Matamoras, PA / Near the High Point State Park section of NJ. Nice 5-6 lbers right off the shoreline with rubber worms or some spinners.  t^
