how is the surf

do anybody got some report on the surf ?... looking forward for some good news..

Bass and blues are in close to IBSP.  For the blues use mullet, bunker or metals and for the stripers well I saw one caught on a white bucktail tipped with a pink fin-s go figure.  I would choose anything you are comfortable in using for both.  But just by hearing all this the bass are on the bottom and the blues are on the top during the day.

It has started guys...

That's not unusual Paul.  In fact it's a great combination. t^  I've caught many stripers on pink Fin-S tipped bucktails or plain jigheads - including the one in the pic below on the Irish Ayes, two years ago.

My question is, have the mullet started pouring out of the inlets yet?  The full moon in September is usually the trigger.

The mullet were still thick in the river yesterday just inside the inlet. They are going to make a break for it soon
