Up for offers we have this completely redone and customized 35ft luhrs convertible which became there 36 the following year. This boat was totaly stripped and professionally redone with her original inboards removed and a pair of 350 ymaha 4 stroke installed. Engineering for this transformation was completed by Armstrong for this boat with a custom armstrong bracket installed and all stringers and transom professionally reinforced to accomodate.
She is fitted with a new custom built 360 gallon fuel cell which was relocated to mid ship for proper balance. The original windshilds were removed and professionally glassed in to provide a sleeker mondernized look as well as the removal of the bow rail and pulpit and fitted with all new rub rail. The bottom was totaly redone which included all new thru hull fittings and the entire boat was done in awgrip in jan of 0/11.
The boat was fitted with a custom built hard top with full enclosure and all aluminum has been powder coated. The boat has a 5 kw generator as well as 2 ac systems with reverse cycle heat. The old engine room was converted to a step down berth with a/c which the previous owners kids love.
The boat has been all wired with 30 amp shore power,has a 110 gallon water tank 5 gallon hot water heater and a 10 gallon waste tank. The head has a new electric toilet with new macerator. all of the outside decking has been fitted with Nu Teak which carries a 20 year warranty and provides a beautifull look.
The interior of this boat was totally gutted and refit with all custom built teak cabinitry along with full size refer /freezer,all counters custom finished in granite ,all upholstery and interior lighting is new as well. Electronics include Garmin 42/12 with 1kw transducer ,garmin vhf sony stereo with 8 speakers and amp as well as 2 flat screen tv's. The 350 yams were fitted with 2000.00 ss salt water series props as well as all new sea star steering. Performance of this boat is amazing with a cruise speed of 36 mph and a top speed of 45 mph. Fuel economy at cruise is approx 1 mile per gallon.
For all practical purposes this boat is brand new in every way and carries new warranty for 6 years on her motors. You could not build this boat for this price as there was no expense spared you could buy a new luhrs with twin outboards for about a half million.
