Fishing Rod Holder

Hey everyone, I was looking for a fishing pole holder for my new truck, and all the ones I looked at online were either bumper racks, or racks that you had to screw into the bed, and I did not want to do that, and also they were quite expensive. So I decided to make my own and it works very well, I was very impressed with the outcome. If anyone is interested I am willing to make and sell anywhere between $50 and $75 depending on size and number of holders. Pictures will be posted following this post.

Thank you, I was a little worried about the outcome, and it came out very well, I just need to put cement in the bottom legs so that it is a little more sturdy.

What if you were to make the legs slide into the slits in the bedliner? I know on my old dodge I had slots to put 2x6's or 2x8's in front of the rear wheel well, on the wheel well, and behind the wheel well. Not saying your idea isn't solid, but just my .02

Nice design,,  What prevents the rack from tipping when the rods are in it and your driving?  Like Jeff stated, Maybe the slots in the bed may help prevent this.

I used your idea and made one to hold seven poles.  It's held to the bed using industrial strength wire ties.  Thanks---this is why this site is so great!
