Met up with Bagel Boy Gene & Billy at KC's Bagel express in Pequannock Township at 8:30 am.
Billy got us to Gateway Marine in The Highlands in no time
Picked up a half bushel of Greens and a Dozen eels.
Loaded up Gene's Grady & off we went.
We got to the spot and set up for the 1st Drift and started drifting eels but nobody was home
Next drift the same
After our 5th drift we all decided to go Togging
Gene took us to the 1st spot and we started bailing nice Tog.
We boxed our 3 keepers in no time and after that we were in release mode !!
After many hrs of releasing tog Gene says next Keeper Tog that is caught we will switch over to Bass
Anchor up and off we went.
Gene spotted some Birds working and once our jigs hit the bottom the 3 of us were hooked up with Keeper Bass.We continued drifting and the 3 of us dropped down again & we were all hooked up again.
6 in the Box now.
For the next 45 minutes it was an insane jig bite a mix of Bass & Blues !!!!
At 5 pm we called it a day.When we got back to Gateway Marine in The Highlands we cleaned up the Crime scene !!!
