Sunday Striper Fishing
« on: November 14, 2011, 09:33:02 AM »
My son and I left before the crack of dawn and made the long rough ride south. Hit a mass of working bird and the bite was hot.  We pulled in 7 stripers from 30 to 33 in plus some nice size blues. Done and heading home be 10.  Stipers where full of sand eels. 7 and 5 oz Krocs and fake krocs worked for us. But a AVA-47 or 67 look just like the the sand eels so I bet that would of worked too. Last trip on the boat of the year. Pulling her next week.
