Thurs 11/17 - Blackfish beatdown! Limits++
Had Chris Flatt and crew aboard for a day of blackfishing. Doug Toggytime, Doug Sr, Dennis, John, and the special guest rounded out todays all star crew!
Went back to where left em chewing yesterday. Was Just a slow but steady pick... sectional bite... one here one there. If u put ur bait in the right spot u got a good bite but u had to work for em. Shifted around n u would get a flurry. Mostly keepers so they started to add up. Grinded out the bite and Had around 50 keepers n a boat limit around lunch time.
Made another drop... and they started to chew good all around the boat. After a bit they were growling! Some nice size fish with 2 over 8lbs and a few more 6 n 7 lbers. Played c&r with another 50 + keepers from this drop and Left em chewin!
High hook was some where in the mid 20s. Around 100 keepers total to 8lbs! Only took home the nicer fish roasters n let the 14-15 inchers fly. Everyone took home limit and released the rest for another day.
