wed tog report
« on: November 17, 2011, 10:18:26 AM »
On the way to the spot from last week we got into some schoolie bass on jigs near SH channel. Messed with them for a while and got to my spot. Only 2 other boats near my WP and was able to get right on it in one drop. Had a great day. Started catching right away on crabs and clams. Fished all day throwing back many keepers trying for bigger fish. Ended the day around  4:00. Ran back in and saw thousands of black birds flying around near the hook. 18 fish for the day none under 16" 2 at 19" some 18's and abunch at 17". 1 cod 22" and one decent ling. Lots of spiny dogs and even had a 12 lb blue hit a clam.  Rain did not start till noon and never got too heavy. Seas were great too.
