12/4 barnegat bass
« on: December 04, 2011, 04:21:22 PM »
broke the inlet this morning and headed south towards harvey cedars.

didn't see any top water action, but there was tons of marks below on the finder, just about anywhere you looked.

jumped around from mark to mark, and a couple diving birds here and there to jig up a nice 31" stripped one.

chatter on the radio had it at another slow day.

conditions couldn't get any nicer, for the last trip of the year. i don't think we ever kept the boat in this long

if you put in the time, there are still plenty of fish around to work on.
All your tuna's are belong to me

this weather is spoiling everyone.  I am in the winterization process, but it was also the longest I kept the boat in the water.  It bridges the gap till spring.  Think of it this way, only 4 full months and the boat goes back in the water.  3 full months and the prep work and excitement starts as well.
Fish out of Toms River NJ.
Call Nick for open boat, 973-417-5756, or on Channel 68.

Beautiful day out there yesterday. One jigged 31" is always better than the skunk. <'((((><
