Got out today with Nick, Ted, and Dave today, plan was to hit the cod grounds on a little recon mission!
Well that got quickly interrupted by bass busting under birds about a mile straight out the inlet! Top water action was insane, also had fish on jigs too. Bite slowed so we headed east and set the hook on a huge rock pile! First keeper cod in the net before the 2nd hook was even baited!!! Tons of just shorts and 7 nice keepers! Could have filled the boat but the south wind started honking so we headed for the barn! Awesome December day! Cod are just getting going guys!!!
