Left the dock at 0700 with Neil, Kirk and Freddy the Banana for a shot at the striped ones. Water temp was 50 degrees and we had good bait and fish marks but no concentrations to jig on. Put out 2 spoons - 1 white -1 chartreuse and ran a plug down the middle. Had 5 bites and boated 4 - 3 nice keepers and 1 just short. Freddy the banana shut down all stripers within several miles so we went looking for BFTs but had no luck there. Beautiful day, felt like we were fishing in September.
