Hey guys - fishing was really good today with a lot of quality fish caught. We headed south of the inlet again today with a nice size group and spent our day in 55-65 ft of water. Weather was great and the blackfish cooperated.
Pool fish was 11.2 lbs and the same gentleman that caught that fish had a 10.8 lb fish as well as his limit of 10 fish for the day. We had about 18-20 fish between 8 and 11 lbs on the boat today! 2 fishermen had their limits and the majority of the other anglers had 5-8 fish each. Sorry to the 5 guys who were feeling "under the weather" and weren't able to get a keeper.
We will be back at it again tomorrow with a full boat and will have a report up. Remember that we will be fishing next Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday for MLK weekend.
Check out the pics below. The young man in the pic holding the pool scale caught both of those fish. Sorry some of the pics are a little blurry but we took them with a cell phone.
Thanks, Capt Matt
