Fishing for a job
« on: January 27, 2012, 12:08:20 PM »
I am a 28 year old Jersey area saltwater fisherman and I am hoping to line up work on a recreational fishing charter to gain experience and log hours to earn my captains license. I am fit, reliable, college educated, experienced in customer service and willing to work for free. I realize that now is the off-season for most captains however for me it is the time to take the first steps toward a lifelong dream. That being said, if you know of any positions that might be available come spring, or simply have any helpful hints or suggestions please let me know.

Well, Ideally Belmar, Brielle, or Point Pleasant. But this is my dream and I don't have kids, a dog, or a girlfriend so I'm flexible.

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
