name that fish...

went crabbing off a pier in barnegat on 8/8.  when i pulled up my traps up i found a bunch of these guys flopping around in several of the traps.  can anyone tell me what kind of fish this is?

Haha yeah, he is a friend of mine.  I told him about this site few weeks ago, he finally decided to register and make a post.  Hes the one that actually took the photo of that rat in the avatar from the fluke i caught.
