Smokers?
« on: February 27, 2012, 04:48:31 PM »
I am entertaining the idea of getting a smoker for use at the campground this year. I figured I have just about unlimited supply to oak scrap from a local Amish furniture store so, it could be cool to slow cook ribs, chicken, etc while we pickle our livers.

Does anyone have any experience? I would like something that is entry level that won't break the bank. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Fred

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

I've had this one for 5 years now and it still looks like new and does a great job smoking meats.

If you're not a purest and you're ok with the idea of an electric smoker they are great   t^
Super easy to use and produces a great finished result.   No fuss temperature control and plenty of smoke.
I think they retail for just ovef $200.
