I wouldn't hold it against anyone that can't make it do to work issues
Or other obligations that day.. Nor should you... Or anyone......
What was said was to sit back in your chair and cry or to take some action.
Action can be taken by attending the Demonstration, writing letters or emails or phone calls to Congressmen and the various fishing councils .
At no time was it said or inferred that anyone that does not attend the rally should be thought of in any negative light.
To state or infer this is not only way off base but irresponsible.
We all do what is important to us, I as a lot of others tend to do more for not only business reasons, but for reasons that we have come from generations of fisherman and we wish to see our sport continue for our children and grandchildren.
The sorry fact is that most will go on line and post BS comments in various forms on various sites, and not bother to take the time to fire off an email to a Congressman or Fishing council, which would take no longer than posting on a site.
Simple fact is that the more voices that are heard, the bigger effect we will have.
